01About these terms

These terms govern your use of the Remnants website, operated by Chiron Intelligence LLC ("Remnants", "we", "us"). By using this website you accept these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

These terms cover the website and the way enquiries are handled. Any paid work is governed by a separate written agreement signed before work starts.

02What Remnants does

Remnants provides one service: we give you a free ballpark figure for your business records, prepare them for AI licensing for a set fee, then take the prepared dataset to AI buyers and negotiate the licence.

The charges are a set preparation fee of $4,850 USD, agreed before work starts, and 6% of each licence sale. There are no other fees: no retainer, no hidden extras. Just the set preparation fee and 6% of any licence sale.

03No valuation and no guaranteed sale

A ballpark figure based on the information you provide. Not a formal valuation in writing, not a valuation of your business, and not a guaranteed licence price.

A licence sale is never guaranteed. Buyer demand and negotiated terms decide whether a licence sells, and the 6% is only charged when one does.

04Fees and payment

The preparation fee is a set fee of $4,850 USD, confirmed with you before any work begins. It pays for the work of getting your data licence-ready and is payable whether or not a licence later sells.

When a licence sells, we take 6% of the sale under the terms of the signed licence agreement. There are no other fees: no retainer and no hidden extras.

05Your data

You retain ownership of your original records at all times. A licence grants only the defined use rights set out in the signed agreement; buyers do not receive unrestricted access to your live systems.

You never email us your data. When preparation begins, records transfer into a secure, access-controlled cloud workspace where all the work happens, never onto local machines or laptops. Every transfer, access and change is recorded in a full audit trail, so there is a complete record of who touched what and when. Nothing moves without your written sign off.

06Who we work with

We work with companies in the US and UK that want to sell or license their business data to AI companies. We work best with trading businesses of around 30 staff or more that have been in business for three years or more, so there is enough history to prepare and license. Smaller or younger businesses can still ask; we assess every enquiry individually. We may decline an enquiry at our discretion, and submitting the contact form does not oblige either party to proceed.

The content on this website is general information, not legal, financial, tax or investment advice. Figures quoted from reported transactions describe other companies' deals and are not a promise of what your records are worth.

We work to keep the site accurate, but we do not warrant that it is complete, current or error-free, and content may change without notice.

08Intellectual property

The Remnants name, logo, website design and content are owned by Chiron Intelligence LLC. You may not copy or reuse them without our written permission. Third-party tool names and logos shown on the site belong to their respective owners and are shown only to illustrate the kinds of records we prepare.

09Liability

This website is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, this website or reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

10Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always on this page, with the date it was last updated shown at the top.
