How to sell your company’s data to AI companies
Yes, you can sell your company’s data to AI companies — and you do it without selling your business. You license a prepared dataset for agreed uses, keep ownership of your records, and keep trading. Here is how the process actually works.

1. Work out what you hold — and who owns it
Start with the records your business creates by trading: Slack and Teams conversations, email, transaction and financial records, CRM histories, support tickets, workflows, SOPs, technical records and code repositories.
Before anything else, check the rights. Who owns these records? Do client contracts, employment terms or third-party licences restrict how they can be used? Suitability depends on quality, context, lawful rights and privacy checks, and it is assessed individually.
2. Get a ballpark figure before you commit
Tell us what you hold and we give you a free ballpark figure of what your records could be worth, based on the information you give us. It is not a formal valuation. If you go ahead, we agree the set fee, do the work, then sell the licence.
A ballpark figure based on the information you provide. Not a formal valuation in writing, not a valuation of your business, and not a guaranteed licence price.
3. Prepare the data properly
A raw export is not a product. Preparation means rights and privacy checks, anonymisation of eligible records, cleaning, deduplication, structuring, and documentation of provenance and permitted uses.
You never email us your data. When preparation begins, records move into a secure, access-controlled cloud workspace where all the work happens. Every transfer, access and change is recorded in a full audit trail. No email attachments, no USB sticks, no local copies. One secure workspace, one complete audit trail.
4. License it — don’t sell it outright
An AI company pays for defined rights to use a prepared dataset for agreed purposes such as training, fine tuning or evaluation. You keep ownership of the original records. Non-exclusive licensing can support several buyers where rights permit, and payments can be monthly, annual or one-off.
AI labs are the buyers. The prepared dataset is taken to AI companies and frontier labs that build and train models, and the licence terms are negotiated for you.
5. Know what it costs
Two charges only: a set preparation fee of $4,850 USD, agreed before work starts, and 6% of each licence sale. If no licence sells, you pay nothing beyond the preparation fee. A sale is never guaranteed.
We work with companies in the US and UK that want to sell or license their business data to AI companies. Typically businesses of around 30 staff or more, trading for three years or more.
