Now listing: operational and system data from businesses that are closing.

Remnants / Liquidation & closure

Closing the business?
Your data is still an asset.

List what the company holds. We take it to our partners for evaluation, then go to the market for a buyer, and turn the records into proceeds for creditors and shareholders.

Nothing leaves the business without your sign off.

The systems a closing business already holds.

What you can list

What a closing business
is still holding.

You do not need a buyer for the company. These records have their own market, and they can be sold separately.

Email histories

Years of context, relationships and decisions.

Slack & Teams channels

How the team actually worked, day to day.

Financial & transaction records

How the business really operated.

CRM & support tickets

Real problems and real resolutions.

Process histories & SOPs

Workflows, documents and institutional knowledge.

Code & repositories

Technical work and the decisions behind it.

Operational data and system data. Personal data is removed before anything is offered.

The difference

You list it.
We go and find the buyer.

A listing puts your assets in front of whoever happens to look. We take them to market ourselves.

01 / A listing site

Post it and wait.

Interest depends on who happens to browse. Someone has to find you, and most assets sit unviewed until the window closes.

02 / Remnants

We go to the market for you.

We put your data in front of AI labs and qualified buyers who need it, run the process until a sale completes, and bring you back only for the decisions.

Process

From listing to proceeds.
Four steps.

You or the appointed practitioner stay in control at every step.

Step 01

List

Tell us what the business holds. Two short steps, no obligation.

Step 02

Evaluate

Our partners assess it and come back with an indicative valuation in days.

Step 03

Prepare

We coordinate anonymisation, cleaning and packaging, with ownership and compliance cleared first.

Step 04

We go to market

AI labs and qualified buyers see it, and we run the process through to a completed sale.

A 6% success fee on the completed sale total. Nothing upfront, and no fee at all if the data does not sell.

Fees

We get paid when you do.

One number, stated up front: a 6% success fee on the completed sale total.

Success fee6%

Calculated on the end total of a completed sale, and charged only once that sale completes.

Upfront costNone

No retainer, no valuation charge, no fee for the preparation work.

Who we work with

Built for both sides of a closure.

Insolvency practitioners and liquidators

The data is treated as an asset of the estate, handled with a documented audit trail. Proceeds are distributed through the insolvency process, and nothing transfers without your sign off.

Founders and directors

A data sale can run alongside or before a wider sale of the company, returning cash without waiting for that deal to close. You stay in control of what is sold and when.

Personal data is removed before anything is offered. Every step is documented for directors, liquidators and buyers.

Is your business still trading? We also broker anonymised data from operating businesses for AI training.

Compliance

Clear to sell,
documented end to end.

The legal questions are the first ones we answer, not the last.

GDPR

Personal data is identified and removed before anything is offered. Fully anonymized data sits outside GDPR, and we document the process so you can evidence it.

Companies in liquidation

We work directly with the appointed liquidator or administrator. Data is treated as an asset of the estate, and proceeds flow to creditors through the insolvency process.

Documented throughout

Every step is recorded: what was held, what was removed, who approved the transfer. A clear audit trail for directors, liquidators and buyers.

Nothing transfers until the legal basis is confirmed and you, or your liquidator, sign off.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Can a data sale happen during liquidation?

Yes. The data is treated as an asset of the estate. We work directly with the appointed liquidator or administrator, and proceeds flow to creditors through the insolvency process.

Do we need a valuation of the company first?

No. The data is assessed on its own, so it does not wait behind a company valuation or an IP negotiation. That is most of why it moves faster.

How fast is the turnaround?

A typical process takes about 60 days from first conversation to proceeds reaching the estate. An indicative valuation comes back in days, anonymisation and packaging take one to three weeks, and the buyer process takes two to six weeks. That is far faster than a distressed IP sale, which can run for months before a price is agreed.

Does this get in the way of a wider sale of the company?

No. We scope the sale with you or the practitioner so it sits alongside any wider transaction, and nothing transfers until the legal basis is confirmed and signed off.

What does it cost?

Nothing upfront. We charge a 6% success fee on the completed sale total, and only when a sale completes. If the data does not sell, nothing is owed.
